OBJECTIVES

• Master the letter sounds and blend them through DISTAR Method
• Retell the given story
• Note details of the given story and answer Wh-questions
• 80% of pupils will be able to read phrases/sentences/paragraphs with comprehension
• 75% of the readers at the end of the year
• Answer comprehension questions based from the story read
• Identify letters, produce letter sounds and blend letters
• Read words with correct stress and intonation

• Using DVD tapes/Player or modern technology for reading remediation
